We are currently looking for a Centre Administrator to join the team at
ABC Balclutha and ABC Balclutha Central, approximately 20 hours per
week with the flexibility to work more if required.
As our Centre Administrator you will support the Centre Manager by
being the expert for accurate and timely completion of all administrative
functions required to run two busy ECE centres.
You will primarily be responsible for...
• Providing excellent Customer Service, positively promoting the centres
to parents, whanau and other visitors.
• Processing centre enrolments promptly and ensuring that correct
information is readily available when enquires are received.
• Possessing a high level of knowledge of the centres' fee schedules and
terms and conditions, ensuring fee payments are received and debts
• Accurately maintaining and monitoring child booking and attendance
records, using knowledge of MOE Funding and Company policy to
accurately complete required documentation.
• Being fully conversant with the requirements of managing staff rosters
and associated information in respect to meeting MOE compliance
requirements and working within company policy.
Our Centre Administrator will have a background in, or knowledge of
early childhood settings, previous experience using APT, banking, handling
petty cash, completion of Government agency documents and other
general administrative functions.
As the first point of contact for visitors you'll have an approachable
manner, a high standard of personal appearance and excellent verbal and
written communication skills. You will be an enthusiastic and energetic
person with a ready willingness to help out and a 'can do' attitude.
