The Otago Regional Council (ORC)
reminds ratepayers that penalty
deadlines for non-payment of rates
A 10% penalty applies for all unpaid rates
outstanding on 01 November 2012. An additional
10% penalty will occur for rates still unpaid on
01 May 2013.
You can pay your ORC rates by credit card (a fee
applies), online/phone banking, by cheque or counter

Ladies' jewellery evening
A Ladies Jewellery Evening will be held at
Gabriel s Cafe & Bar this evening from 7.30. It
will feature handmade jewellery by artist
Marianne Roberts. Hostess rewards will be
used to purchase the jewellery, which will be
raffled in a ladies Christmas hamper. The
evening is a fundraiser for the Cancer
Two discos will be held in the Kaitangata War
Memorial Hall tomorrow evening. A Witches
and Wizards disco for preschool to year 5 will
be held from 5pm till 7pm and an Angels and
Demons disco will be held from 7.30pm till
There will be prizes for best dancers, original
costumes and challenges at both discos.

Carmichael will provide entertainment and a
canteen will be available.

Memorial Hall on Wednesday, October 31,

Prince Charles at a party at
Government House in Wellington
on November 14.
Prince Charles is visiting New
Zealand as part of celebrations to
mark the Diamond Jubilee of
Queen Elizabeth II.
