When the last child begins school
it is often the time when women
take on new challenges.
Leanne Booth of Paretai, near
Balclutha, knows all about that.
Mrs Booth, who has had an
interest in sewing and craft all her
life, has found a demand for her
home-designed cushions and
About five years ago she began
selling them at markets.
Three weeks ago she opened her
own boutique Nstyle Boutique in
her home at 292 Koau Rd, Paretai.
As well as quilts and cushions, it
has runners, bags, and small gifts,
all in bright colours and designs.
They can be customised to fit the
consumer's requirements for size
Mrs Booth came originally from
Rangiora, Canterbury, but has
lived in Clydevale and Romahapa
before coming to Paretai.
She and her husband Martin, who
is a tractor driver trainer at
Telford, have seven children in
their blended family, all of whom
are creative at art.
"Both my younger sons, William
and Ethan, can sew,'' she said.
